Halloween at the Smith house this year was fun, especially with little Khalil. We actually kept things pretty light. We walked around a little as a family and then Nessie and Khalil stayed home with me and passed candy out while Daddy, Malia and Kee walked some more.
Malia was fixed on being a "nerd". Dont ask why but she pulled it off pretty good. Nessie wanted to be all kinds of things, but finally managed to choose a "skeleton bride". I don't ever let them be scary things but I let her be a little spooky this year. Keenan, of course, wanted to be a Star Wars character.(and he will probably wear the costume a million times throughout the year) And Khalil had no choice but to match his brother's Star Wars theme, and be the Great "Master Yoda". We carved pumpkins Halloween day, and Khalil even had his tiny pumpkin (even though he tried to eat it). It was really nice to just be together as a family and laugh and be silly. Halloween is one of my favorite days of the year!
